Handmade greetings card: “Die cut floating bee with flowers”

Description I’m particularly fond of this card, because my name (Deborah) means ‘bee’ in Hebrew. This lovely handmade greetings card is in a cheerful yellow cardstock with a matching envelope. The square card has a circular aperture in the centre, to which I’ve affixed some acetate at the back so that the die-cut shimmering bee appears to float when the card is open. Surrounding the bee is a ring of die-cut tiny flowers in sparkly red paper, each of which has a diamante affixed to its centre. At the top of the card I’ve heat embossed ‘penblwydd hapus’ (Welsh for ‘happy birthday’) in black embossing powder, giving a lovely tactile element to the card.
